Frequently Asked Questions

Isn't all fruit juice vegan and gluten free?

While our juice is exclusively vegan and gluten free, not all fruit juices are. By the nature of some production practices, some clarification processes use animal-derived ingredients like gelatin or isinglass (from fish bladders) to clarify the juice, making it appear clearer; therefore, always check the label to ensure your juice is vegan. It's rare, but fruit drinks may even include gluten-containing ingredients such as barley. It is very occasionally used as a sweetener. Therefore, even though most fruit drinks are safe, you do need to be careful when choosing a fruit juice-based beverage.

What does organic and non-GMO mean?

Our products are organic and non-GMO. Organic means that a food has been grown and processed without GMOs and in accordance with the Department of Agriculture's (USDA) guidelines. Non-GMO means that a food has not been genetically modified, but it may or may not be organic: Organic foods are grown without GMOs, synthetic pesticides, petroleum-based fertilizers, or sewage sludge-based fertilizers. Organic farmers use cultural, physical, and biological processes instead of synthetic chemicals. For example, they might rotate tomatoes to prevent disease instead of using fungicides. Non-GMO foods are not derived from GMOs, but they can be grown using any practices that don't involve genetic modification. Non-GMO foods can still contain toxic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.

Is there any added sugar?

Our products do not contain any added sugar or flavor modifiers. While some companies often enhance their products with artificial flavoring or toxic preservatives to improve the flavor profile or color, we only add ascorbic acid. Ascorbic acid, commonly known as Vitamin C, acts as a shelf stabilizer in food products by preventing oxidation, which can lead to discoloration and loss of flavor, effectively extending the shelf life of various food items like fruits, vegetables, juices, and meat products; essentially acting as a natural antioxidant preservative.

Do we ship internationally?

Unfortunately, as of now we do not ship our products internationally. If you are interested in finding our products domestically please check out our "Where to Buy" page that lists our resellers and distributors.

How long do open beverages last?

Once opened our products will need to be refrigerated and will last up to 7 days in a safely regulated temperature environment. Before breaking the safety seal, our juices are shelf stable for 14 months.

Is the packaging sustainable?

Our packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Counsel (FSC). The FSC label is the world’s most trusted mark for sustainable forestry. The certification on our packaging ensures that our products are made with a mixture of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC-controlled wood. While controlled wood doesn’t come from FSC-certified forests, it mitigates the risk of the material originating from unacceptable sources.
